1 pound lean beef, cubed or sliced*
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 cup broccoli florets
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
Salt and pepper to taste (Use salt substitute if limiting sodium intake)
Add all ingredients to Crockpot. (Thaw broccoli if frozen. For firmer broccoli, wait to add until the last hour of cooking.) Heat on high for 2 to 4 hours or until beef is no longer pink and is completely cooked. Stir occasionally as needed.
*Stew meat is often an inexpensive option and comes pre-cut.
