Cranberry Apple Saut

This very easy side dish has a flavor reminiscent of apple pie, but without the guilt!

Ingredients
Apples (1 medium per person)
Dried Cranberries (1 tablespoon per person)
Apple Pie Spice or Cinnamon
Butter (Approx. 1 tablespoon)
Sugar (Optional)

DirectionsWash and slice apples.  Put just enough butter in the bottom of a skillet so that the apples and cranberries won’t stick.  (Oil or cooking spray work too, but butter gives a noticeably better flavor.)  Add apples and dried cranberries and cook on medium high heat until warm and slightly softened.  Sprinkle with apple pie spice or cinnamon.  If apples or cranberries are especially tart, add a teaspoon or two of sugar to taste.
